1. What are the terms and conditions of the booking?

2. Do we need travel insurance?

We highly recommend that you arrange travel insurance for your holiday and for certain Villas this is an obligation

3. Can you recommend a car hire company?

Yes, if you put yourself in contact with our reservations team they can make appropriate suggestions for your holiday.

4. What is the weather like in Ibiza?

Seasonal temperatures vary, in July and August they can top 30°C with sunshine all day long. Spring and autumn days can be also be very warm with highs up to 27°C. Winters have cooler and wetter weather, even so the temperature is still a mild 16°C. The most popular months for visitors looking for sun, sand and sea are May to October. The quieter months are very popular with hikers and cyclists, and even in the winter the Balearics are still open for business.

5. What are the payment conditions?

This is dependent on the property, on your reservation of your chosen holiday home you will be sent the appropriate terms and conditions etc. prior to payment.

6. What if we have to cancel?

The deposit is non-refundable, and the balance is due 60 days prior to arrival and once paid it is also non-refundable.

7. Can we see more information on the property?

Please ask us in the reservations department and we will send you as much information as we have available.

8. Can we contact the property owners directly?

No.

9. Can we bring our pets?

The majority of our properties are not pet friendly. If pets are allowed to come to the property then this will be indicated in the description.

10. What if we break something in the property?

You are committed to take care of the property during your stay and return the property to the owner in the same condition as it was received. Some property owners will ask you for a damage deposit which will be returned to you 5 days after your departure if the owner has confirmed that there was no breakage.

11. Can we extend our stay?

Depending on availability then of course you can. Get in touch with our reservations department.

12. Is there air conditioning?

This is dependent on the property and will be stated in the individual description.

13. Is there British television?

Where English Satellite (SAT) TV is indicated then there will be the “Freeview” English SAT channels, BBC, ITV, Channel 4 etc.

14. What time is check in?

Normally Check-In is at 4pm local time. (Spain is one hour ahead of Britain).

15. What about services in the property? Is there a cleaner?

Yes where stated there is extra mid-week cleaning, at an additional cost

16. What about adaptations for wheel chair users and other disabilities?

Where stated yes but please note that many Villas are not suitable

17. Are the properties available all year round?

If the calendars show them to be available.

18. Is the swimming pool gated?

Where stated or visible in the pictures. Please ask our reservation staff to find you one if you require a gated pool but cannot find one in our selection of properties.

19. Is there a golf course nearby? Does the property have internet access? Where is the nearest sports club or gym?

Features of the property and local amenities are always described in the individual property details.

20. Does the property have baby and toddler equipment?

Where stated, if required cots etc. can be provided

21. Can we drink the water?

All tap water is fit for drinking, brushing teeth and washing however it is always best to buy bottled for drinking, some visitors prefer the flavour. For cooking or making tea/coffee the tap water is absolutely safe

22. What if someone falls ill on holiday?

Make sure that you have your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) with you on your trip. If you have health insurance then make sure that you bring the relevant documents with you. If you take any prescription medications then it is always advisable to pack enough to cover the length of your stay. If you have any pre-existing illnesses or conditions then take advice from your GP before you travel. If you have a medical emergency whilst you are on your holiday then call 112 to get an ambulance. In addition, by law Spanish taxi drivers must transport medical emergencies to hospital when asked to do so. Any driver can also turn their vehicle into an ambulance if needed. In order to do this you must drive with your hazard lights on and fly a white piece of material from the window. But be warned as misuse of this system will result in a heavy fine.

23. How long does it take to get from the UK to the Balearics?

The average flight time is about 2 – 2.5 hours. Depending on the time of year you can fly directly to Ibiza. In order to get to Formentera you must get a ferry from Ibiza.

24. How long does it take to transfer from the airport to the property?

Bearing in mind the size of Ibiza it can’t take too long to get from the airport to the property that you have chosen. Most journeys are well under an 30mins. You can book car hire in advance with us, hire a car on arrival or get a taxi from the airport to your door.

25. What’s the time difference between the UK and Spain?

The time difference is +1 hour ahead of GMT.

26. What languages are spoken in the Balearics?

English and German are frequently spoken. The official languages are Spanish and Catalan which is the language of Catalunya. The local languages are Eivissenc (Ibiza and Formentera) which is a sibling of Catalan

27. A word about the sun

Please don’t forget your sun protection. Make sure you use a high factor cream and reapply throughout the day. Don’t let your holiday be spoilt by sun stroke! Stay out of the sun when it is at its peak, drink plenty of water and wear a hat.
